About This Place

Nestled on a quiet corner at 1450 Flower St in Glendale, Little Ground is a charming café and restaurant that masterfully blends comforting breakfast classics with bold, inventive flavors. Specializing in fresh, thoughtfully crafted dishes and exceptional coffee, this weekday-only spot is quickly becoming a beloved local gem for those seeking quality and warmth in a bustling area.

Step into Little Ground’s cozy, no-frills environment and you’ll immediately feel the inviting energy that balances casual simplicity with culinary care. Whether you're stopping by for a quick takeaway or settling into the quaint outdoor patio to catch some work or conversation, the ambiance is relaxed and welcoming, making it perfect for early-morning catch-ups or a peaceful solo visit.

The menu reveals a delightful spectrum of options, especially highlighting breakfast and brunch favorites. Delight in the Braised Pulled Pork Breakfast Burrito, a hearty, flavor-packed choice praised for its tender meat and perfect seasoning — it’s no surprise this item is a standout among regulars. If you prefer something lighter, the crisp and vibrant Kale Salad offers a fresh, healthful bite, while their Omelette and Quiche showcase the kitchen’s mastery of fluffy eggs with rich, well-balanced fillings.

Bakery lovers will be enchanted by Little Ground’s array of house-made pastries — from buttery, flaky Croissants to the delightfully tangy Orange Ginger Scone and the sweetly dense Strawberry Financier. The Almond Lemon Tea Cake and a variety of cookies, like the beloved Date Coconut Oatmeal Cookie and Rye Chocolate Chip Cookie, have earned rave reviews for their fresh-baked aroma and expertly layered textures. These treats pair beautifully with the café’s carefully crafted coffee offerings.

Coffee here is more than just a pick-me-up; it’s an experience. From the creamy Flat White and rich Mocha Latte to the creamy yet nuanced Matcha Latte and energizing Cold Brew, every cup is a celebration of quality beans and skilled preparation. A particular favorite among visitors is the refreshing Iced Matcha, which balances earthy bitterness with smooth sweetness — a perfect complement to their savory and sweet menu items alike.

What truly sets Little Ground apart, beyond its menu, is the genuine enthusiasm of its staff and the small-business spirit that permeates the space. Regulars like Sanaz Aminian emphasize the “wonderful service” and how the café feels like a hidden support system for the community’s smaller enterprises. Another visitor, Bryan, notes the spot’s simple charm paired with incredible flavor, highlighting how the coconut date cookies often disappear early due to their irresistible appeal.

Though tucked away in an industrial area and somewhat unassuming from the street — with a takeout window and limited parking — Little Ground surprises every visitor with its quality and heart. Dog-friendly and equipped with clean restrooms and reliable wifi, it’s also an ideal spot for creatives and professionals who wish to fuel their day quietly but deliciously, as local favorite Harrison appreciates.

In sum, Little Ground is not just a place to eat; it’s a delightful discovery, a cozy sanctuary where each bite and sip feels thoughtfully prepared to elevate your day. Whether you're craving a robust breakfast burrito, a perfectly crafted latte, or a decadently fresh pastry, Little Ground promises a memorable taste of true culinary craftsmanship infused with local love.

Wonderful surprise Decided to meet a friend on the way to SD and we picked this place close to the 134 and 5 Freeway What a great place with great breakfast and wonderful service My daughter iced Matcha latte was very good I think their Pulled pork burrito was the best but everything else was fresh and tasteful also. Helping the small businesses should be our high priority and this one definitely worth the support

Told my daughter to pick a place to eat on the way to the LA Zoo, so she found this place on Google maps randomly. When we drove by we were surprised by the location among an industrial area and you can only see the takeout window. You can park on the street, there is limited parking on the restaurant side but more across the street. Once you walk over to the restaurant, you can see a cozy outdoor dining area with sun covers but no roof, so I don’t advise to eat there on a rainy day. We ordered the beef brisket sandwich and chicken sandwich. Both were very delicious and served with a side salad with the most amazing citrus/oil dressing. They included a couple of cookies one chocolate chip and the other one, I don’t know what’s it’s called but it had shredded coconut. Omg the best cookies I ever had!!! So if you are on your way to the zoo, stop by this place to grab breakfast or lunch.

Great food and drinks. Small simple and amazing. The pulled pork breakfast burrito is great (I got mine without cheese) and the rosemary chicken salad sandwich is amazing as well, both shown in my photos. The cookies are GREAT, my favorites the coconut date cookie but they sell out by 9 or 10 am. Only open on weekdays.

Burbank's best kept secret! It's tucked away on an unassuming corner of a studio district, serving primarily folks in the industry (which is why they are closed weekends). It's small, but the quality is high. I come often to type and enjoy their coffee, breakfast burritos, and brisket lunch sandwiches. They have clean restrooms and wifi, and are dogs friendly.

Oh. My. Goodness. What a perfect cafe! I was driving through Burbank and ran into this gem. I ordered a breakfast sandwich, a latte and a cookie. Usually, if the coffee is good, then the food is mediocre. Or vice versa. But this place hits a home run on both! The latte is actually real and the eggs in the sandwich are fluffy and perfect. AND the cookie!! A delight. Plus, the staff is so polite and courteous. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing. The entire experience was so pleasant. I can't wait to go back and try the menu

Amazing coffee with a great atmosphere. Plenty of street parking available and seating. Been coming here for years now! I only wish they had longer hours so I could go more frequently but I still make an effort to go when I need my coffee fix. Wonderful staff as well highly recommend!
